Summary

You have to hand it to the folks responsible for the Little Monsters series of educational aids for youngsters. They do come up with some endearing characters and situations to make learning to read and count much more of an enjoyable experience for children. Things take a surreal twist in this particular title though, with the central character, Timmy, growing tired of ticklishness. His dad, evidently some kind of mad scientist type, has invented an anti-tickle suit for Timmy to wear. The suit needs to be put to the test, and this is where you come in.

Nothing tickles like feathers - lots of them - and the fair at Wonderfun World is the place to go to win enough feathers to test the suit. The fairground features lots of attractions where feathers can be earned, such as the big wheel, the alphabet dodgems and the carousel. Timmy can win all the feathers he needs by recognition of letters and high frequency words, and their common features.

It's a great way to help formulate your children's speech at an early stage in their lives. Ticklish Timmy is aimed at 3 - 4 year olds, and with your help, Junior will be the most eloquent kid in his or her class when school comes around. Top marks all round for the Little Monsters.
