Summary

Karting titles have become extremely popular since the release of the infamous Super Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo. And when other racing forms are introduced as well as karting, such a title will receive some attention. Enter Disney’s Magical Racing Tour.

Similar to Diddy Kong Racing on Nintendo 64, MRT doesn’t consist purely of racing, there is also a light-hearted storyline involved here. As it turns out, Chip ‘n’ Dale have wrecked the machine that makes Disney World’s fireworks work, and everybody is counting on you to fix it before tonight’s party. To fix this catastrophe, you must race your way around Disney World and collect pieces of the fireworks machine by winning races. While racing is the main objective here, there are other tasks set out for you compete in. In one challenge, you must collect a specific number of coins around a car park within a limited time. If you fail, then you don’t collect the goods.

Once the game is completed everyone can relax in the knowledge that there is going to be a special fireworks display after all. Doesn’t that make you feel good?
