Summary

In Cold Blood is an adventure set in the memory of M16 agent John Cord. Captured and tortured by enemy agents, he is weak and fighting for his sanity. All he knows for sure is that he was betrayed. If only he could remember by whom and why.

Your adventure begins as Cord tries to piece together the fragments of his shattered memory. You must reconstruct the events that led to his capture and use the information to make sense of his current situation as he languishes in his cell, somewhere behind enemy lines.

But if you are going to help Cord, you will have to start acting like an M16 agent yourself; think like one and fight like one. Much like Metal Gear Solid, Fear Effect and the Resident Evil series, In Cold Blood requires some stealthy moves rather than the cavalier approach. Forward planning is important too. Luckily enough, your agent is equipped with a handy little gadget called the Remora, a wrist-mounted communications and data storage device. Interaction with characters throughout the course of the game is also important, as the more co-operative people will be able to give you clues as to what happened to Cord. The less co-operative people, well, you can always kill them.

Spread over two discs, In Cold Blood is a handsome-looking game and an absorbing adventure. You only live once, so be vigilant, be careful, and above all, survive.
