Summary

Developed by Konami, Hybrid Heaven is a third person action title made into the style of Metal Gear Solid on PlayStation, but with its own unique RPG style implementations. Hybrid Heaven stayed in the charts for quite some time since it release. They say every success in life has a reason; here’s ours.

Hybrid Heaven has a unique eerie feel, thanks to well constructed environments blended with slow, quiet music and some nasty fellow creatures. After an unknown source released New York’s underground secret hybrid experiments, these nasty creatures have been roaming around, killing everything in sight. It’s up to you to first find out what the hell happened and put things right. But beware, there are strange beings hunting you down.

Once you get under way, Hybrid Heaven’s role playing element will become increasingly apparent. Battles are individually isolated, whereby once you come across one of your foes, you have to battle them to the death. This can be done through both the use of weapons and physical attacks; which strategy to choose should depend on the enemy. Once the battle is won, all sorts of level-up’s can be obtained, showing just how RPG orientated this game is.

Action RPG’s fans will have a great time playing this, but thee is a lot to be done, so make sure you have a couple of hours to spare here.
