Summary

Unlike other horror titles, this eerie vampire game takes on a new role. Unusually, in Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption, you get to take on the role of a human-turned-vampire. In a quest to return to your former self, you have to track down the “big boss” as it were, and finish him once and for all.

For an RPG there is a hefty amount of third person based play, whereby you must explore the surrounding environments with a floating camera. Only when you have the ability to battle your foes does Vampire’s true genre shine through. There is sword based combat, blended with other magical role playing strategies. The 3D environments in which you roam are incredibly lush and detailed, thus having a knock on effect on the atmospheric approach to Vampire.

Vampire takes place over a huge time span. You will see your character progress over a whopping 800 years in locations ranging from medieval Vienna, to modern London. Your tactics within these time periods will decide your fate forever. Will you hang on to your last shred of humanity, or will you survive as a creature of the night, drinking the blood of the innocent? The choice is yours.
