The users commands a crack team of Marines as they battle not just a virulent plague, but also a mysterious cult that are simultaneously sweepeing across the United States.

The game features research and resource management strategy as well as combat for up to eight players, over LAN, and internet connections.

One of Abomination's most interesting points is the email update facility, which allows campaign mode games to be played without all users having to be on-line simultaneously.
