Summary

Sequel to one of the most hyped launch titles for the Nintendo 64, Turok 2 promises to give gamers even more of what they want. The dinosaurs have returned in this brand new battle against humans, and it’s up to you, Turok to sort them out once again.

As a first-person shooter, you are given all of the standard options relevant to the genre, a variety of movements, weapons, and switches for you to, well, switch. With mutant-like dinosaurs as the enemy, Turok 2 can be quite a frightening experience at times. You may be walking down a corridor in complete silence, and just before you get to the end… you’re dead. The use of Nintendo’s RAM expansion pak contributes to the graphical power of the machine considerably. Textures are of a higher resolution, therefore having a knock-on effect to the visual prowess of Turok 2.

Turok 2 is a worthwhile sequel and should receive a warm welcome from those who purchase this title.
