Summary

To begin with, motorbike-racing games weren’t that popular. But then, back in the very early nineties, two games made their debut - Road Rash and Super Hang On. While Hang On was a ‘once only’ title, Road Rash made appearance after appearance on various platforms. This latest version promises to show some of the most enhanced graphics for the series yet. This is Road Rash 64 on Nintendo 64.

The developers of this game have done a good job in making this game faithful to the original of the series. Technically, not much has been changed at all. It is still a violent motorbike racing game, whereby you must try and prevent the opposition from winning the race by pushing or kicking them off their bikes. The higher you rank in the race, the more cash you will receive so that you can improve your existing bike, or buy a completely new one.

New for the 64-bit version, there is a 4-player option. Here, you can challenge your friends in a mad rampage to gain the most moolah. With other options, including death match and cop mode, Road Rash 64 will prove just as popular as its predecessors.
