Summary

Welcome to the weird and wonderful industry of Hollywood Movies. In attempts to create more and more originality, Luc Besson created The Fifth Element. Such was the success of this sci-fi fantasy adventure, that a video game tie-in was produced; surprise, surprise. Now you can influence the outcome of the universe in The Fifth Element on PlayStation.

Upon starting the game, you will have the option to play as Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis), or Leeloo. Both characters possess one of two weapons; guns and hand grenades. You must use these weapons to the best of your advantage if you are to save the universe from evil. To familiarise you a little more with The Fifth Element’s story line, this movie adventure has included some clips from the big screen version. This feature is included throughout the game and is used at critical moments in the game’s plot.

The controls take on the familiar method of the Tomb Raider series. They aren’t as polished here through, so you will need a little time and patience to get used to them, as with most other games. The Fifth Element will probably appeal to fans of the film more than anyone else. Nevertheless, The Fifth Element story line provides a good driving force to play this game.
