Summary

Picture the scene. You are a race driver in command of a powerful vehicle which is able to speed along it's chosen track either way up. Truly, there is no top and no bottom in this game other than the fact that it's a dizzyingly fast and furious experience. Welcome to Rollcage.

The clue is in the title, as whichever way up you may find your vehicle, the enclosed cage rolls to ensure you, the driver, will always find yourself at a 90 degree angle to the surface you are on. Even when you're travelling at high speed along the roof of one of the many tunnels to be found in Rollcage, you'll be in an upright position, despite the impression given that you're trapped in some anti-gravitational hell.

Rollcage is a delightfully easy to 'pick up and play' title, but it's a safe bet that you will not be able to put it down too quickly. Racing around the beautifully realised and hyper-futuristic tracks is enormous fun, and speed is of the essence. It's no good trying to run the other drivers off the road. Those kind of tactics will just slow you down. Instead, why not pick up some of the weapons on offer as you tear up the track? Try firing a missile at a distant building and watch the fiery debris tumble into the road. This will result in something that resembles the devil's own obstacle course. You can pick your way through, while the other drivers won't know what's hit them.

So strap yourself in, and feel the g-force with Rollcage, the definitive high-speed experience.
