The all singing, all dancing 2.5D follow-up to Team 17's early 90's Amiga smash, Project X.
(Project) X2 was superbly programmed and absolutely gorgeous to look at. Seemingly thousands of superbly drawn and rendered objects swarmed across the screen smoothly and quickly. But despite its technical excellence, something was slightly wrong with the difficulty curve. The game was just too hard for most gamers. But if you are one of those uber-meisters of the shoot-em-up who can finish R-Type blindfolded, with one had tied behind your back... you'll love this game.
