Summary

Cue hilariously overplayed guitar solo, springing forth from some of the most ludicrous lite-metal/pseudo prog rock I've ever heard in a video game. Widdly widdly widdly weeeooww! Well, something has to take your mind off the lurid sight of Peak Performance on your TV. It all adds up to a bit of a headache really.

That said, there's a healthy selection of cars to choose from, and they chug along at a fair old rate. No matter how much you throw these vehicles around-up onto the kerb or spinning across the grass verges-they always seem to come through unscathed.

If you look closely enough, you'll discover some alternative routes whilst racing aroung the regular courses. Unfortunately, exploration of these hidden roads is somewhat spoiled by a flashing 'wrong way' warning smack bang in the driver's eyeline. Also, there is no way to complete the race if you take one of these roads, so it's all a little pointless.

For a fast fix of speed this game is only adequate, dark glasses and earplugs are recommended.
