inXile entertainment was founded in 2002 by industry veteran Brian Fargo, who turned one of the first small game developers from the early 1980's into one of the top five PC game publishers of the 1990's. Development focus is on producing Role-Playing Games, from a legacy of creating and releasing iconoclastic RPG's such as Wasteland, Dragon Wars, Fallout, Neuromancer, and Baldur's Gate.
inXile's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2005 title, "The Bard's Tale" (PS2).
The company has been involved titles released on the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, PC, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, DS/DSi, PS2 and Xbox.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2019 release "The Bard's Tale IV: Director’s Cut" (Xbox One).
