Lara looks a lot like that girl from Beyond Good & Evil only with a bit more polygons in this game.
Looking back at how good Leon looked in RE4 and this doesn't really improve on that...'this could run on the Gamecube' next-gen game #i lost count after a hunderd.

Seriously, are gears of War and MGS4 the only games that actually look next-gen without having N64-esque framerate drops or what?

Have you seen the Prey footage? Smooth as, and a massive leap in graphics AND physics. Well worth the look if you can find it.

I wasn't all that impressed with MGS4; yeah I know, they said it wasn't pre-rendered, but that's what EA siad about "that" madden picture...

That Gears of War video is about the only thing that's really impressed me so far; mainly because it's in-game. Looks like a slightly more manic RE4. RE5 will, of course, be ridiculously good.

The in-game footage of Condemned's nice too though, and the aforementioned Prey footage. Kameo still looks a little rough, but that's probably down to the video quality of the capture.

I suppose we'll have to wait til nearer launch, really.

wheres our man ont he groud at x05? any comment? i know condemend looked decent at e3 but it also had like half the effects turned off so it could run in hi-def... a terible mistake on MS's part, they required everything being shown to be running in HD so alot of the people demoing said that a lot of the stuff would have looked better if they could have just outputed the lower res..... but anyway, anythign really strike you as "next gen"?

i personaly think oblivion is pretty stagering... just the vegetation alone... so far to me it already looks to put far cry to shame in that respect.

For SPOnG:
Your URL creator doesn't work and the bold/italic/image/etc buttons don't work as well.

I get a javaScript error, line 106, 'null' is null or not an object

It's working fine here with Firefox/Mozilla, IE6 on Win. Seems to a be a problem with Safari on Mac. Which browser version and OS are you using?

Hmm. This is really puzzling. I'm replying with IE6 on XP Pro SP2, and the buttons are fine.

Could you let me know the exact version of IE6?

Mine is 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519

More annoying is the fact that line 106 in the button hander script is a curly bracket "{" - hardly cause for a null object error. With each passing day I become more convinced IE declares every error as an null object, and picks a random line number.

I have exactly the same version of IE as you do. Full error details:
Line: 106
Char: 7
Error: 'null' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: http://forums.spong.com/en/html/forum/post.jsp?forum=9&thread=2580&message=16652&mode=reply"e=t

Not sure it that helps ya. Also IE sometimes reports the wrong line numbers and the error is on the line after the "{".

As your bug fixing ;) I just followed the link in my email to your reply and was automatically logged in, but I couldn't reply to your post as the Reply button was missing... had to logout and then back in to reply

Underwhelmed. Her best days are behind her. Definitely. Just check out that ass ;)

haha but seriously it doesn't look all that special yet. A tad more flashy than current gen. That's about it.
