@smooth206 hee hee, how evil we are.. thanks for the info. you sure it works on 360 (i have on already)? if you are thats great. my dreamcast f**ked up years ago and i would hate to have to buy another dreamcast to replay shen 1, then an xbox to play shen 2... that would suck. i finished shen 1 but its been so long the story is hazy... please god dont let shen 3 (if its ever made) be exclusive to ps3... that would suck...

@ev yeah i'm definately sure it works on 360, just needs an update from xbox live, it prompts you to do so automatically anyways. You'll get the movie disc with shenmue 2 to recap you on the story of shenmue 1. Its a shame all the dreamcarts reset themselves. I loved that machine. I never finished shenmue 2 so as far as shenmue 3 goes, i have ALOT of time to get it done heh

@smooth206 thanks bud. very helpful of you. so thats what the movie disc is for. thats handy no need to get another dreamcast... but it would have been cool to give it another go after all these years. i f**king loved the dreamcast man, i remember being amazed every time i turned it on and i remember being absolutely sickened when sega abandoned ship. i begrudgingly bought a ps2 when my dc died, thats how i missed shen 2 i guess. damn, that s**t (shenmue 1) was way ahead of its time... thanks again and take it easy smooth..

@ev yeah was a sad day when dc died. Along with skies of arcadia, san francisco rush 2049, msr, chuchu rocket and ofcourse that little vmu for the pad. Oh i forgot to mention, check out the 360 forums because there's hints towards more dreamcast titles going on xbox live arcade along with crazy taxi etc. Heard shenmue was going on that too. Not sure how much truth is in that rumour though. Good luck with getting your hands on shenmue 2 google it. Think there's a site selling it for 12.99. Take care mate

@smooth206, very sad... extremely frustrating too. i was sure sega were on to a winner. seemed like a sure bet to buy a dc. nothing came close graphically for a few years. that vmu was awesome too. i had shenmue, metropolis street racer, toy commander, soul caliber, vigilante V8, crazy taxi, speed devils, jimmy white's pool/snooker 2, ready 2 rumble boxing, NBA 2K (remember the players reflections on the court?) and im sure there were one or two more... just writing them down brings back so many cool memories... hell, i might just buy a second hand dc for 'ol times sake... googled a few consoles and sehnmue 2's and found a few bargains already. thanks again...

@ev all great little games in their own right. Fond memories of msr definately. It came down to price for me, i was only 16 when they came out. Had to rely on mam n dad lol my best mate wanted ps2 but for over a hundred quid less the dreamcast seemed much more appealing and it was definately the better choice in my opinion, still think the same now 11 years on. I want a dc now :( damn this cruel world... I'm going to go and punch next door's cat in frustration. Bbs lol

@smooth206 LOL. punch that motherfucking cat, give it one for me too... man that is some f**ked up s**t 'cause i was only 16 too. i didn't get all the games at once, i got the dc for christmas along with house of the living dead (forgot that one earlier) or something like that and the rest of them i got second hand over time in GAME as i had a part time job washing cars... dc wasn't too popular among my friends here in Ireland, don't know why, prob something to do with sony marketing. i was the only one that had one but any of the lads that came over to play it were well impressed. msr was unreal, the scale and ratios of all the cities were bang on due to hundreds of thousands of photos being taken and the cars were made off of original blueprints. i remember how perfect it was. it thought me what KUDOS were ha ha. tough game but in a good way...
