still doesn't make it any cheaper. Unless you just want a single player experiance holding a dual shock + Move which sounds a bit rubbish. Who wants to play party games on their own? Billy no mates? Kinect works out cheaper and better and the list of games if far more interesting than Move.

so i want 2 move controllers and 2 nav controllers thats £120.00 a little bit cheaper than natal as i doubt ill have more than 2 playing at once.

Also did we ever find out if 4 move controllers and 4 sub controllers can be used at once, with the blue tooth 7 controller device limit?

I think the official word is 4 move controllers or 2 move and 2 navigation controllers. Why not 3 + 3? No idea!

@John

Sony might cost more, but will always be better than the xbox version, its microsoft after all, plus games for the xbox are unique to the Kinect, were as ps3 can intergrate with normal games, which sound far more appealing.

Already proven test show that the move is so much more accuate than the kinect, example was given of a xbox racing game when you turn the wheel to correct a missed judged corner turning to even 90 degress it made the car turn the opposite way because it cannot tell where you hands are

I'd rather pay for something that works than get pissed of because it doesn't responed to you in the way its looks/advertised

sorry to be picky, but..

1x move starter pack - 49.99
1x move controller - 34.99
2x sub controllers - 49.98

thats £134.96 for the move setup, compared to £129.99 for kinect, so it is a little more.

Well, we've signed all the bits of paper we need to sign, we've sent them off and we're expecting to get our hands on Move in the office next week. This leaves me out of the Cost argument as I get to play for free.

What I'm concerned about is how will either of the new controllers add to my gaming?

Cheers

Getting hold of Kinect... let me quote a line from a source close to Microsoft, "Hahahah, as soon as we do, man!"

Pip pip

PS: when I say "close to" I mean, like I'm close to my own head.

The price is just too costly for me to even get involved as I see both Kinect and Move as nothing more but gimmicks, I really don't see how they would add to my enjoyment of games. They'd have to be some super unrealistic cheap price for me to even consider a purchase of either I think.

This is coming from someone who didn't buy into the while Rock Band/Guitar Hero scene either, I guess I'm just a controller kind of guy.

That being said, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts Tim when you get Move in the office.

You should pop in and try it when we get it Trig. In fact, that goes for any SPOnGgers who can get here.

Just mail me in advance - as we have to ensure we have enough pork roasted.

My understanding is they both offer "4 player support", but only really support 2 full players.

Kinect can handle just 2 in full body motion, but 4 if the actions are reduced, eg 4 players in a quiz game where you just put your hand up to answer.

Move supports 4 controllers, but only 2 controllers and 2 sub-controllers together. So again, "4 player support" when the actions are reduced to one hand, or 2 full players.

Kinect *may* be able to support more with software updates in the future. Move is limited by the number of bluetooth devices in tandem; 7. But Move should be able to support 3 full players - and potentially 4 if a USB port was used to connect the 8th device..
