I think it's absolutely disgusting that a game depicting modern warfare should be based around actual war like realities! What were Activision thinking releasing this!!

Clearly they are just out to make money not caring how many poor pixels are hurt in the process...... I'm sure they struggle to sleep at night...... NOT

Man, it is so easy these days to make politicians look stupid.

Instead of buying this game I'm going to go and watch Saw 6 in the cinema - something the government seems to have no problem with.

Has the world gone PC mad. It's a game people. Images like the ones in the game are shown (to some degree) on the TV, papers, films etc. Lets ban those too. The way the UK government is going, I'm sure there will be a game console tax soon anyway, so people won't be able to afford to play the game anyway. We live in a violent world, banning such games does not make it go away, don't fight the game fight our corrupt government who started the war that the game is based on. Don't stick your head in the sand!

this is an 18 rated game i as a 23 yr old guy have the right to play such games, why do ppl take such thangs serious this the public are not mature enough attitude have to end, i will buy this game and play it like i have been doing in the last 5yrs of gaming

Too many people seem to jump on the band wagon with declarations of inappropriateness, sighting these games as too violent or over the top. I dare say that this particular game will become the reason behind another senseless massacre giving rise to concerns of the unstable youth taking guidance from the warped minds of game developers. Remember though, this is just that: a game. It has been given an 18 certificate (and rightly so) and I'm sorry for perhaps taking a dim view on this, but the same weight of responsibility needs to be applied to allowing under-age access to this as you would afford an 18 certificated film. I can't guarantee that my kids will not be playing this (they will not being so in my house for sure) the same as I cannot guarantee they will not watch an 18 film. However, what I will be doing is educating them in the rights and wrongs. I’ll not sight the game in their education, but they will understand that shooting someone is not the way to resolve disputes!

It's skippable, but it's a playable level, not a cutscene.

Anyone slamming this for-adults game because of a clearly warned and completely skippable part of the game is an idiot. There may be other reasons why this game is unsuitable for adults but, short of paedophilia, I don't know what those would be.
