Can't help but feel this is kind of intentional on Nintendos part to spur Wii sales. Though it did seem odd so few people had picked up their preorders. I wonder how many people preorder and then went the Wii route anyway.

Thanks Lupos. Wii is quite scarce at the moment, so this probably isn't Nintendo's brightest idea ;).

Kudos to GAME Online, the only online place that had it in stock. Put an order with them today, shipped the same day. Well done GAME. I will pre-order everything with you in the future.

An interesting observation here is that most online retailers are out-of-stock whereas most real-world retailers have stock. Maybe the tables are turning on online shopping.

preorders of the wii console for game online still have not got their preorders yet as all the online preordered hard ware want to the shops on the high street not in the mail

I don't think the tables are turning i just think for big highly antisipated games peopel still feel safer ordering form a real store because they think they will have it in their hands faster. The real test will be when full console games become available for download.

But the thing is that most people have obviously ordered Zelda TP online rather than in-store, resulting in retailers having stock but online stores not having stock and some being unable to forfill pre-orders.

If this trend continues then we may see a shift away from online shopping as customer realise their pre-order is more likely to be forfilled in a real-life shop.
