Summary
Marbles! Balance Challenge (you might know it as the second Kororinpa game) stars Anthony the Ant on his search for the Golden Sunflower. Stop scratching your head: yes, it's a marble game with a plot!
You might as well forget about all that, however, as the levels and gameplay are the star of the show here.
The premise is simple: players guide their marble through a series of mazes featuring ingenious obstacles. Using the Wii Remote you control the environment rather than the marble itself, tilting it to get the ball where you need it to be and collecting crystals as you go. You'll come up against tricky maze elements such as conveyor belts, magnetic rods and pinball bumpers as you try to make it to safety.
The game promises longevity. For starters, it has 150 levels, compared to the relatively measly 40 in the first game. Once you've got through those, there's a four-player split screen mode to keep you interested. If you still need more to go at, there are endless possibilities to be had from the game's level editor, enabling you to play your creations either solo or with friends. Furthermore, you'll be able to share them online to take things even further!
