Summary

Deadly Alliance delivers the highly acclaimed Mortal Kombat experience to the Xbox with a hefty dose of brutality, supernatural wonder, and an overhauled fighting system. Early 2003 finally sees the European release of the long-awaited next chapter in the battle of good versus evil, as two powerful sorcerers - Shang Tsung and Quan Chi - join forces to deliver unrivalled fighting action in their quest for supreme mortality.

Gamers engage in hand-to-hand and special-weapon combat throughout, using moves and combinations of great complexity to bring about new fatalities and deadly body blows. There are a host of lethal new warriors available in Deadly Alliance, along with the return of some of MK's classic combatants, such as Scorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero and Sonya. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance features progressive physical damage that allows players to view the humiliation suffered by their opponents as they head toward their inevitable demise. Ha! Three unique fighting styles for each warrior means near-unlimited fighting possibilities too.

Adding to the otherworldly atmosphere in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance are doom-rockers Adema, who have recorded the game's theme song 'Immortal', a jolly little tune, recorded exclusively for this game. The promo video for 'Immortal' is featured on the game's DVD content, along with the making of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and an extensive look at the long, long history of the Mortal Kombat series.
