Summary

Command and Conquer: Worldwide Warfare is a compilation pack that includes all of the games and mission packs from the whole series. Included in this anthology are Command and Conquer plus the add-on pack Covert Operations. Red Alert and its mission disks, Aftermath and Counterstrike. If you have never played this extremely successful range of titles, this is your perfect chance to become hooked.

In Command and Conquer you choose from two sides with their own distinct agendas. The Global Defence initiatives (GDI) are like a united nation peacekeeping force determined to keep the planet in one piece. The Brotherhood of NOD are an evil terrorist organisation determined to rule the world. Each C.D. in this compilation has it’s own missions to challenge your gameplaying skills.

The basic idea is to establish a central base and construct buildings and train your troops. You need to mine ore in order to finance your war efforts. There is a delicate balancing act that needs to be found in regards to managing resources and is different for each mission. Sometimes time limits create a panic that needs to be overcome. One of the best features is the ability to split your troops into different factions. You can then attack an enemy base from three different directions simultaneously

Worldwide Warfare has so much gameplay spread over eight disks that it will keep you playing for months.
