Power Rangers: Ninja Storm
When an evil ninja master and his minions threaten to plunge your home planet into chaos, the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers are called in to help avoid a seemingly inevitable catastrophe. It will become immediately apparent, particularly to veteran games players, that Ninja Storm employs old-school beat-em-up gameplay from around the 16-bit era.

Looking suspiciously similar to Shinobi in terms of style, players must wander the 2D scrolling locales whilst fending off myriad ninja henchmen in the progress. Power Rangers come equipped with an array of ninja-like abilities and special attacks, with which they must reach the end of each level. And in true Power Rangers style, the end of the game sees their powers combine to form a giant Megazord capable of defeating your mysterious and formidable opponent once and for all.
