Summary

Rogue Spear

As the sequel to the award winning Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Rogue Spear has a lot of hype to live up to. Red Storm’s follow up promises to have more of the same features that made the original so popular, and add a whole set of brand new features to make this a worthwhile sequel.

Once again, you lead the Rainbow team in a mad world of terrorist warfare. You must travel across many locations and environments, ranging from jumbo jets to museums. Strategy is of critical importance here. If you jump into a mission with all guns blazing, you will more than likely get your head blown off. You have been warned. Also, newcomers to the genre can access a tutorial to allow them to get used to the mouse and keyboard controls. Other, more experienced players can use their training environments to form advanced techniques of infiltration.

In addition to the standard single and multi-player games, there is also a mission editor, whereby players can edit existing missions and make them subsequently easier or harder depending on whether or not you are a veteran of Rainbow Six. With stunning 3D visuals, complete with superb weather and lighting effects, Tom Clancy’s Rogue Spear is a great game that many of you will enjoy.

Delta Force 2

Delta Force 2 is (wait for it…) quite simply the follow-up to Delta Force. The popularity of the original warranted the development of a sequel, and now you must take on even more terrorists in this action packed first person shooter.

There are 40 huge missions for you to work your way through, each and everyone complete with a unique set of objectives. Some missions need to be approached through the use of surrounding environments in order to prevent your capture. You must hide in tall grass, swim under water; your approach is critical to the success of the mission.

In addition to single player action, there is the much more sociable option of multiplayer gaming. As well as being able to compete against other friends, you also have the fantastic option to create your very own multiplayer battles using the game’s mission editor. Players be warned, if you are to take part in a newly designed battle, the mission’s creator will always have the advantage.

With a whole new set of weapons to terrorise the terrorists with, as well as the complete bestiary from the original and an infinite number possibilities for multiplayer battles, Delta Force 2 will have you on your knees for some time to come.
