Summary
It’s motorbike racing season, and you know what that means don’t you? It means the arrival of the next video game edition of MotoGP, which is known for its attention to detail in capturing the exhilarating two-wheeled sport. For this 10/11 release, Monumental and Capcom are once again offering two seasons’ worth of content for fans to enjoy. The 2010 season will be included on the disc, while downloadable content will provide immediate updates on the 2011 season shortly after it officially kicks off.
But there’s more to MotoGP 10/11 than just the names of the racers. Monumental has taken the time to take a look at the way the game plays, and as a result an all-new handling system and improved physics are present in this rip-roaring new update. Players can create fully customisable assists that can help them fine-tune the balance between simulation and arcade racing - truly the ultimate juggle for any sports game developer.
Some new features have been thrown into the lineup of gameplay features too - the Career mode now comes complete with a co-op feature that allows you to play with a friend via a local splitscreen affair. Old favourites Championship and Time Trial are accompanied by a revised Challenge mode, and a robust online mode that allows up to 20 racers to play against one another.
