Summary

Outcry is an adventure game based amongst breath taking environments created in photorealistic detail – set to a haunting soundtrack and effects the scene is set to discover the boundaries between dreams and reality, as the player delves deep into their subconscious to confront their innermost fears.

Outcry combines elements of classical Myst-like adventure games, along with an author's approach to visual and audio environment. The interactive soundtrack has been designed for the game by Anthesteria project. The main character receives an invitation letter from his brother - whom he hasn't seen for years, and decides to visit him. However upon arrival, the writer receives news about sudden disappearance of his brother and as he finds out, the scientist has been secretly working on a mysterious machine, which could separate one's consciousness from his physical appearance.

What follows is a surreal, not to mention eerie, journey through a landscape seemingly comprised of the scientist's subconscious. Players will have to overcome obscure yet logical puzzles in the 3D point and click tradition. Your progress will be helped by an interesting game mechanic - to traverse the bizarre landscape you can move into the past.

If you're looking for a creepy, psychological horror to make the long winter nights more interesting and a darn sight scarier, you're in the right place.
