The Elder Scrolls Online

I agree that the market is stuffed of fantasy mmorpgs. In order for TESO do be successful they really have to do something new or do whats already been done extremely well. A lot of people look at TESO as a way for them to make money without ruining the series my I think they will be able to pull it off and develop a game that is good and unique. I have been following the information at TESO Zone and it looks promising.

The market is indeed studded with mmorpgs, but they are all bad. WoW is a good game, but blizzard are not the company they used to be... Zenimax have the potential to make something as epic as world of warcraft was in it's vanilla days, and for that I am really excited, but also sceptic, for despite the fact I no longer play wow, all other mmorpgs have not been anywhere near better than wow. Guild wars 2 maybe, but as it's free to play, it's not really in the same category!

Oh my word , have you never played Everquest2, I have tried WOW (for a yr),Vanguard , Rift, Eve Online, but I go back to EQ2 every time. The graphics are awesome, the people are long time players and adult. Not that playing with kids is bad, WOW is after all more a teen game in that respect. If Elder Scrolls comes even close to Everquest2, I will definitely give it a try, but until then you can't compete with EQ2 in my opinion. Huggle try EQ2, you might be surprised.
